Public Consultation: Hewitts Roundabout PSPO Extension (2027–2030)
14th October 2026

Sevenoaks District Council has launched a public consultation on extending the Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) for the Hewitts Roundabout area for a further three years. The consultation runs from 9 October to 13 November 2026.
Why this consultation is important
The PSPO helps deal with dangerous car meets, racing, excessive engine noise and other anti‑social behaviour that has affected residents living near Hewitts Roundabout. The Order gives the Police and authorised Council officers additional powers to issue warnings and fines.
Since enforcement increased in late July, more than 100 fines and warnings have been issued, and there have been no gatherings at Hewitts since the August Bank Holiday weekend. Extending the PSPO would help maintain this progress and continue protecting local communities.
