Floral Tributes
Floral tributes can be left at the Sevenoaks War Memorial, on Sevenoaks Vine (15 Pound Lane, Sevenoaks TN13 3TB).
The Council are politely asking that packaging is removed from any tributes to ensure that once removed, they can be respectfully removed and composted.
Proclamation
The timing of the local proclamation by the District Council Chairman has just been confirmed as 3pm on Sunday, 11 September.
The Proclamation will be held at the District Council Offices and the Council would like to invite members of the Parish Council to attend. Invites will also be extended to District Councillors, community groups and local residents.
Council services and meetings
The guidance been given can be summarised as ensuring everyone are mindful of the period of mourning and ensure that whilst services continue to operate as normal in so far as possible, any additional events and some meetings may best be cancelled as a mark of respect.
