Annual Parish Meeting May 15th 2025

This year marks a decade since the formation of the Badgers Mount Parish Council – ten years of neighbours coming together, supporting one another, and building something truly special. At the heart of everything we've done is one clear message echoed again and again by our residents: community matters.

To celebrate this incredible milestone, we warmly invite all residents to our Annual Parish Meeting on Thursday, 15th May at 7 PM at the Badgers Mount Memorial Hall. Come enjoy free drinks and nibbles, reconnect with friends and neighbours, and take part in a relaxed evening focused on wellbeing – something we all need more of.

This year's theme is Wellbeing in Our Community, with short sessions including:

• A guided mindfulness meditation
• A calming introduction to sound healing

We’ll also hear from the Chairman on highlights from the past year and open the floor for your thoughts on how we can grow even stronger as a village — with wellbeing at the heart of our community.

As a token of our heartfelt thanks, we would love to gift every household a recyclable aluminium pot with a small handful of innovative herb seedballs — a simple way to add flavour and a touch of green to your home.

And there’s more! To celebrate the incredible green spaces we’re lucky to call home, we’re also hosting a Guided Woodland Walk on Saturday, 17th May at 10 AM.

Join us at the Memorial Hall car park for tea and coffee, then set off on a walk through our beautiful woodlands, led by experienced local rangers. You’ll discover how these natural treasures are cared for — and why they matter so much to our future.

Please note: the walk includes uneven ground and may not be suitable for wheelchairs or buggies.
